Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Artiaid Software Inc. ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use ariyao.com and the Ariyao service (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

Artiaid Software Inc. is a company incorporated in Canada and is the owner and operator of the Service. You can reach us at jayme@artiaid.com.

2. Information we collect

Questionnaire answers. Gender, age range, goals, concerns, sleep and skincare habits that you enter in the quiz. These are stored only in your browser's local storage on your device. They are not transmitted to our servers.

Photos. The front and side photos you take or upload are processed in your browser and stored only in your browser's local storage. They are never uploaded to our servers or to any third party. You can delete them at any time by clearing your browser's site data for ariyao.com, or by using the Retake button before continuing.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical information for each request, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, for security and to keep the Service running. We do not run any analytics or tracking scripts on the site.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Whop, Inc. When you purchase, Whop collects your name, email and payment details under its own privacy policy. We do not receive or store your card details.

3. How we use information

We use information to generate your report on your device, to operate and improve the Service, to provide customer support, and to comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal basis and consent

Where required by law, including Canada's PIPEDA, we rely on your consent, which you give by using the Service and by choosing to upload photos. You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing your site data and ceasing use of the Service.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service: Vercel (hosting), Whop (payments) and Pexels (delivery of stock video on the landing page). Each processes data under its own terms. We may disclose information if required by law.

6. Cookies and local storage

The Service uses browser local storage to save your quiz progress, your photos and your report. We do not use advertising cookies. Third-party services such as Google Ads may set cookies on their own domains when you click an ad; see their policies for details.

7. Retention

Data stored in your browser remains until you clear it. Payment records are retained by Whop and by us as required for accounting and tax purposes.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and you may withdraw consent, by emailing jayme@artiaid.com. We will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18. If you are under 18, do not use the Service or upload photos. If we learn that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it.

10. Security

The Service is served over HTTPS. Because your photos and answers stay on your device, the main protection for that data is the security of your own device and browser.

11. International transfers

Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. By using the Service you consent to such transfers.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
